On January 1, 1978, 49-year-old Jose Figueroa Martinez was shot to death inside Mr. R’s Lounge, located on US Hwy 17/92 in Haines City. Another victim was also shot, but survived his injuries. The suspect, an unknown Mexican male, fled the scene in a dark-colored Camaro with Michigan tags. At approximately 1:00 p.m. on January 19, 1978 the Rockingham County Sheriff arrived at a residence located on McCrillis Road in Nottingham, NH. When the sheriffs arrived they found the body of Michael A. Keljikian, age 25, of Revere, MA. An autopsy revealed that Keljikian died as a result of a single shotgun blast. Although the medical examiner did not reach a conclusion on the manner of death, investigative details indicate that the case is a homicide. On Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 10:09 pm, Police responded to the 1300 block of Thamesford Drive after a report of gunfire. Jesse Brown was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He died as a result of his injury. The State Medical Examiner’s Office ruled this death a homicide. Investigators were able to discover Mr. Brown had been involved in a confrontation with an unknown person just prior to the shooting. Jesse was a 23 year old black male who had dark brown eyes, black hair, stood 6’ 1’’ tall weighing 161 pounds.
