On May 17, 1990, Rhonda Sue Coleman left a senior class meeting and never made it home. Her car was found abandoned beside the highway in Hazlehurst, Georgia. On May 20, 1990 the deceased body of Coleman was discovered in a wooded area in Montgomery County, Georgia. Rhonda was a lifelong resident of Hazlehurst, Jeff Davis County, Georgia. Rhonda was an only child and resided with both her mother and father at the time. An autopsy was completed on Rhonda at the GBI crime lab and no cause of death was determined. Rhonda was an active student at Jeff Davis High school and was last seen dropping off a friend at a store in the city of Hazlehurst prior to Rhonda heading home around 11:00 p.m. on May 17, 1990. Patricia A. Woody Age: 34 Hgt: 5'1" Wgt: 92 lbs. Address: 35 Rudy York Road, Cartersville Found: April 25, 1990 at 1:30pm Found by: Robert's employer Last Seen: 11:00pm April 24, 1990 leaving friend's house. On Wednesday, April 25, 1990, at 1:30pm, the bodies of Robert M. Woody and his wife Patricia Ann Woody were found in their single family home on Rudy York Road just outside the city limits of Cartersville. The bodies were discovered by Robert's employer who had gone to the home when Robert failed to show up for work that morning. Robert had been beaten and stabbed and Patricia had been strangled and stabbed. The Woody's were last seen alive at 11pm the previous evening, Tuesday, April 24, 1990, when they left a friend's residence in Patricia Woody's car. Investigators think the murders occurred sometime between midnight and 3:00am on April 25, 1990. Because there were no signs of forced entry into the home, investigators believe the assailant knew the victims and that Robert was the target of the attacks. Patricia became a victim because of her mere presence in the residence that night. On Thursday, February 22, 1990 between 3:30 and 4:30 pm, Anunciacion Imperial, Asian Female, was working alone as the evening clerk at the Fil-Am Grocery Store when she was brutally murdered. Robbery appears to be the motive. The Fil-Am Grocery Store is located in the 900 block of Kempsville Road in the Providence Square Shopping Center in the Kempsville section of Virginia Beach. A black male between 30 and 45 years of age was seen in the area a short time before and after the victim was found. He was described by witnesses as standing about 5’ 10’’ tall with a thin muscular build and a weathered look. He was wearing a brown or tan colored uniform. Mrs. Imperial was a 56 year old Filipino female who had brown eyes, black with some gray hair. She was 4’ 11’’ tall weighing 147 pounds.
