On September 19, 1983 unidentified human remains were discovered along U.S. 27, eight miles south of State Road 84 in unincorporated Broward County. The victim was a white female with Asian and Hispanic facial traits. She was between 5' and 5'2" tall and weighed approximately 90 - 100 lbs. She had brown, medium, shoulder-length hair and is estimated to be between 14 and 19 years old. The remains were skeletal and had been there about two weeks. She was wearing a yellow metal chain with a real sea shell charm. There were also signs of previous fractures to her left ankle and right wrist. She had a marked overbite and several fillings. On the evening of July 10th, the victim left her apartment near Sligh Avenue and Rowlett Park Drive for unknown reasons and never returned. The next morning, her partially clothed body was discovered by a jogger in the Town n' Country area of Hillsborough County. The victim died as a result of gunshot wounds. The victim's car was recovered the following day parked/abandoned on a residential street in Tampa near Manhattan Avenue and I-275. The victim's purse was located by the side of a road in Clearwater.
