24-year-old Gary Robert Parker was found by EMS on March 20, 2008, around 9:30 a.m., when they were called to a house on Kalogridis Road in Haines City. Parker's body was in the enclosed front porch, and Detectives discovered that the front door of the residence had been forced open. Parker sustained a single gunshot wound to the left eye area. Investigation revealed the residence was a marijuana grow house, rented by Agner Vilarello-Fernandez. It is believed that Parker was attempting to break into the residence and Vilarello-Fernandez shot him during this attempt. Vilarello-Fernandez is wanted for questioning in this case. Cold Case Spotlight

22 year old Amber Bass was shot and killed in the driveway of her sister's home at 8484 Springtree Road at 2:25am as she was returning from an evening out with friends. Amber's purse that was discovered missing at the time has still not been found. Police are asking for help identifying a light-colored vehicle captured on a surveillance camera about the same time the victim was killed. If you have any information, no matter how small you think it is, please call First Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-8477. If your information leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this deadly shooting, you could be eligible for a $3,000 reward. Another $1,000 is available for information that leads to the recovery of the gun in this case.
