Cold Case Spotlight

Late on the evening of June 25, 2013, residents in the Englewood area of Jacksonville, Florida began calling 911 to report a house fire on Mimosa Drive. 83-year-old Robert Levey was found deceased inside his home, which had been set on fire. Detectives have not released the cause of death but described Mr. Levey's death as a "brutal murder". The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit is looking for a white male in his late teens to early twenties, 5'-6" to 5'-7" tall, 120 lbs, and shoulder length brown hair. He was wearing a green shirt, shorts and a black and white backpack. This individual was seen near the victim's house at the time of the fire, approximately 11pm, June 25, 2013, and may be a suspect.
