On September 19, 1983 unidentified human remains were discovered along U.S. 27, eight miles south of State Road 84 in unincorporated Broward County. The victim was a white female with Asian and Hispanic facial traits. She was between 5' and 5'2" tall and weighed approximately 90 - 100 lbs. She had brown, medium, shoulder-length hair and is estimated to be between 14 and 19 years old. The remains were skeletal and had been there about two weeks. She was wearing a yellow metal chain with a real sea shell charm. There were also signs of previous fractures to her left ankle and right wrist. She had a marked overbite and several fillings.
