Cold Case Spotlight

On June 15, 2005, Joshua "Josh" Jerome Delaney, 22, was shot and killed in the early hours. Colorado Springs Police Department received a call of a shooting that had occurred in the vicinity of London Lane and Chelton Rd. Officers responded and found Mr. Delaney deceased inside of his vehicle. Mr. Delaney had been shot numerous times in front of a residence in the 4500 block of London Lane. Just prior to the shooting, Mr. Delaney had been at the Platinum 25 nightclub. It is believed Mr. Delaney may have been involved in some sort of altercation at the nightclub. Witnesses described seeing a vehicle parked on street with reverse lights on. Witnesses also reported that they heard people talking, but not arguing, and then gunshots. Maurice Wilkinson, age 48, and his wife Ellen Wilkinson, age 39, were shot to death in their home at Old Route 16 in Center Ossipee, NH, on August 16, 1974. Maurice was sitting in a chair in the living room when he was shot and Ellen was upstairs in bed at the time of her death. Autopsies on the victims revealed that Maurice was shot one time with a 9mm weapon and Ellen was shot multiple times.

On June 16, 2016 at approximately 10:04 p.m., deputies responded to 2300 Fontainebleau Drive, Orlando, Florida in reference to a drive-by shooting. Deputies discovered two black males with gunshot wounds who were identified as Teryus Zion Garmon (Juvenile) and Lee Andrew Nelson Jr. They later died of their injuries. Witnesses indicate a dark colored sedan pulled up to the victims, who were standing in front of the house, and fired from the vehicle.
