Date: 02/26/2011 Time: 0156 hours Location: 5th Street & Avocado Avenue (Goldsboro) Sanford, FL 32771 Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound Manner of Death: Homicide Motive: Unknown On February 26th, 2008 Sanford Police Officers responded to the area of 5th Street and Avocado Avenue in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival officers encountered a Black male identified as Hamilton Clark laying in the roadway. Clark had sustained a gunshot wound to the back, which exited his chest. Clark was transported to Central Florida Regional Hospital and later airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center. Clark passed away as a result of his injury. A witness was identified and advised that just after hearing the gunshots, she observed two unknown Black males fleeing on foot west towards the Seminole Gardens housing projects.
