On June 16, 2016 at approximately 10:04 p.m., deputies responded to 2300 Fontainebleau Drive, Orlando, Florida in reference to a drive-by shooting. Deputies discovered two black males with gunshot wounds who were identified as Teryus Zion Garmon (Juvenile) and Lee Andrew Nelson Jr. They later died of their injuries. Witnesses indicate a dark colored sedan pulled up to the victims, who were standing in front of the house, and fired from the vehicle. The following news clipping was published in the Naples Daily News on October 4, 1974. “Taxi Operator Slain – JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) – The owner-operator of a small taxicab company found shot to death under the approach to the Hart Bridge over the St. Johns River was apparently the victim of a robbery-slaying, police say. Officers said they found the body of Joseph Roy Davis, 40, early Thursday. A taxi Davis had been operating Wednesday night was found abandoned in South Jacksonville, several miles away.
