On 12/9/1997 Janis McDonnell was found murdered about 100 feet off Aripeka Road just west of U.S. Hwy 19 in Spring Hill Florida. She was last seen about 10 a.m. that same day when she left her home to go shopping. Her 1995 white Pontiac Sunfire SE was found the next day abandoned in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart store on U.S. Hwy 19 in Spring Hill Florida.
