On July 9, 1980, the body of Joseph Bloyd, w/m 36 years of age, was located at Lake Sylvan Park near a power line clearing. The body was in an advance stage of decomposition. Bloyd had been reported missing to the Casselberry Police Department by his father and was last seen on July 4, 1980. Bloyd’s motorcycle was located nearby.
