On May 16th, 2007, deputies arrived at 5475 Suncreek Drive, Orlando, Fl,the victim was returning home from work and as he parked his vehicle he was approached by two unknown black males demanding money. One black male shot the victim and then stole his vehicle. The victim died as a result of the gunshot wound. On August 10, 1982, husband and wife, 57-year-old Joseph and 52-year-old Peggy Asher, were shot to death in the living room of their office apartment at the Sands Motel, located at 830 Hwy 27 South in Lake Wales, after an apparent robbery attempt. 57-year-old Harry Paul “Steve” Jernigan was found in an orange grove off Old Bartow/Lake Wales Rd in Lake Wales on January 10, 1982. He was shot while traveling east on SR 60 towards Lake Wales, and his body was dumped in an orange grove. Jernigan’s car, a 1977 Buick Estate station wagon with Alabama tags was found burned in Hillsborough County. He was in possession of several thousand dollars when he was found. Almonzo Marshall was shot inside a white Dodge Avenger somewhere in the area of south St. Petersburg at approximately 10:00 pm on June 14, 2009. Marshall was then transported to the Highpoint area in Clearwater where he was dumped out of a car by a family member and friend. Roman Hall Jr. Date of Homicide: 8-6-2011 Case number: 11-35394 At approximately 0025 hours (25 after midnight) the neighbor heard a gunshot that sounded really close to her window, in the 5700 block of 7th ST E, in Bradenton, FL. She stepped out the back door to check on her dogs and saw a tall slim build black male running east through the victims back yard toward the alley. The neighbor then observed the victim lying on the ground outside his back door and called 911. Deputies arrived on scene and began CPR until EMS arrived. The victim had a gunshot wound on the side of his head. The victim was pronounced deceased at 0048 hours. Several doors inside the house appeared to have been kicked in, the front bedroom window was broken, and there was evidence that someone had gone through the window.
