Cold Case Spotlight

Scharod Fleming was attending a teen dance at the YMCA in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco on January 17, 2004. After two fights broke out and spilled into the street police arrived (around 10:30pm) to defuse the situation. While the teens gathered in front of the building around 11:50pm a gunman opened fire on the crowd, shooting multiple people and killing 15-year-old Scharod Fleming. The Office of the Mayor of San Francisco has authorized a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect responsible for the murder of Scharod Fleming. On December 15, 1996, Dale Wilhelm, w/m 36 years old, was found unconscious lying next to his vehicle at Mullet Lake Park, Geneva. He was transported to ORMC with severe injuries to his face and head. He later died as a result of his injuries. A witness stated he and Wilhelm were attacked by three unidentified males who beat and robbed them. These suspects have never been identified.
