On Apr 23, 1974 unidentified remains were found in a canal near a wooded area along S. Hiatus Road, about two and a half miles south of State Road 84 in unincorporated Broward County near Davie. The victim was a white woman with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was 5'9" tall and weighed 150 pounds. Her clothing included a size 42-44, white, Fruit of the Loom t-shirt, light blue bikini underwear and blue jeans. She also wore a brown, Indian-pattern belt, size 30 and had a green rubber band around her right wrist. She was estimated to be be 40 years old. Her death was ruled a drowning, but she had abrasions on her face, hips and legs. She had a 6-inch hysterectomy scar on her abdomen and a full upper denture plate.
