On September 28, 2006, deputies from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office responded to Semoran North Apartments, Winter Park, in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, Michael Peisner, w/m 25 years old, was found deceased in the dining/kitchen area as a result of a gunshot wound. Peisner’s girlfriend sustained non-life threatening injuries during the shooting. On Thursday, September 25, 2003 at approximately 2:30 am, gunfire erupted in the 4600 block of Downeast Court in the North Beach Apartment complex. Police and Rescue found a man lying inside the door of one of the apartments suffering from a gunshot wound. He had died where he was found. Michael’s body was transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office where the autopsy proved he had died from a gunshot wound. The manner of death was ruled a homicide. Investigators believe the victim answered a knock at his door and when he opened the door he was shot. Michael was a student and baseball player at Virginia Wesleyan College and was from Newport News. Michael Snapp was a 19 year old white male who had blue eyes, short brown hair, 5’ 11’’ tall, weighing 173 pounds.

The GBI, Adairsville Police Department and Bartow County Sheriff's Office are seeking information on the murder of a 20 year old Federal Jobs Corps Trainee whose body was found near Adairsville on October 6, 1992. The victim, Walter J. Cropper, was last seen Sunday, September 20, 1992 at 1:00 pm in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He was seen walking down the road in front of the Jobs Corps Center in Prestonsburg. He was to graduate from the Jobs Corps the next week and return to his home in Panama City, Florida. On Thursday, October 6, 1992, Cropper's partially decomposed body was discovered 20 feet from Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive which is located about a mile from the intersection of I-75 & Highway 140 in Adairsville. He had been shot in the chest. Investigators do not believe he was killed at this location. They also think his death occurred the day he disappeared from Kentucky - Sunday, September 20, 1992. Date: 06/29/2008 Time: 0540 hours Location: Between 53 & 54 William Clark Court (Goldsboro) Sanford, FL 32771 Manner of Death: Homicide Motive: Drug Transaction/Robbery On June 29th, 2008 Sanford Police Officers were dispatched to William Clark housing projects in reference to a traffic crash involving a blue colored Saturn, with a Hungry Howie’s delivery sign on its roof. As officers were responding they encountered a blue Saturn with heavy front end damage in the area of 9th Street and French Avenue. Contact was made with three occupants, two males and a female. The male driver, identified as Benjamin Lovingood, was found to be unresponsive behind the steering wheel. Lovingood sustained injury to his back from a single bullet. Several bullet holes were observed in the rear of the vehicle as well. Lovingood was pronounced deceased as a result of his injury. The witnesses in the vehicle described being in the William Clark housing projects in an attempt to purchase narcotics. At that time three unknown Black males opened fire on them while they were in the vehicle. The vehicle fled, crashing into a telephone pole, then continued to flee to the area where police encountered it.
