Cold Case Spotlight

On Monday, June 15, 2009, 23-year-old Cedrick Herbert was shot and killed inside a friends apartment on East Northfield Blvd in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Investigators say Herbert was asleep in the apartment when the unknown suspect(s) forced open the front door. The killer or killers forced Herbert to his knees and executed the him with 3 shots to the back of the head with a small caliber gun. Nothing was taken from the apartment. Anyone with information about the unsolved murder of Cedrick Herbert, or that remembers seeing someone near apartment F-4, a vehicle or any other information is asked to call the Murfreesboro Police Criminal Investigations Division at 893-2717 or Crime Stoppers of Rutherford County at 893-STOP (7867).
