On May 20, 1991 at 11:26 a.m., Manchester Police were called to respond to 700 Elm Street, the Center of NH parking garage, for a report of a female being stabbed. Upon arrival, police found Rita Roy, age 69, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Rita was transported to a local hospital where she died as a result of her injuries. An extensive investigation, spanning several months was conducted into this incident in an attempt to learn the identity of the assailant but no arrests were made.
