On the morning of March 9, 1988 at 8:00 a.m., the Manchester Police discovered the body of Robert "Flippy" Heckbert, age 30, floating face down in the Merrimack River in Manchester, NH. An autopsy revealed that Robert died from a combination of a severe beating to the head and drowning. On Saturday, February 24, 2001 at 8:40 a.m., Mr. Hamilton's body was discovered in the yard behind his travel camper at 4917 Austin Street in Tampa. Mr. Hamilton's truck, the white 1/2 ton Chevrolet was located behind the Burger King Restaurant at Columbus Drive and 50th Street on Sunday, February 25, 2001. Two unknown black males were seen exiting the victim's truck. The driver was described as a black male in his 20's, 5'8" - 5'11", approximately 160 pounds, short black dreadlocks that were shaved in the back, and wore an ear ring in his right ear. The passenger was only described as a black male in his twenties. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit at (813) 247-8660.
