On May 1, 1991 unidentified human remains were found in the sleeper compartment of a tractor trailer behind 1080 N.W. 31 Avenue in unincorporated Fort Lauderdale. The victim was a black woman, about 5'6" or 5'7" tall. She weighed about 115 pounds. She was wearing a red and blue jogging suit, brown sandals and a light blue brassiere. She was estimated to be between 20 and 30 years old and was found in a sleeping bag.
