On July 14th, 2005 approximately 0100 hours, the victim and a friend were sitting in a vehicle, within an apartment complex, located at 6806 N. 50th Street (50th Street just south of Sligh Avenue). An unknown black male, 5ft9, medium build, wearing dark clothing and a dark colored mask approached them. The suspect attempted to rob the victims of their money. The suspect then shot Chad Lynch in the upper torso, killing him. The suspect fled to an unknown destination. On Thursday, May 13, 2004 the body of John Porter, a 46 year old white male, was found wounded in the street in the unit block of SE 21st Street. He had been shot in the torso. He was transported to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries during surgery. Just prior to the shooting, witnesses in the area advised they had seen the victim riding his bike speaking to a B/M. The suspect was seen fleeing the area on foot south on SE 21 St and west on SE 2nd Ave. Several canvases of the area were done as well as putting up a traffic electronic sign board asking for information. On February 21, 1977 the Belknap County Sheriff's Department was performing a search warrant at a home located on Beauty Hill Road in Gilmanton, NH. The sheriffs found four tons of marijuana in an upstairs bedroom. In the bed was the body of a white male later identified as Jerome P. O'Sullivan, age 29. James died as a result of a single shot to the right side of the head just above the ear. The medical examiner was unable to determine whether Jerome died as a result of homicide or suicide. The case has been treated as a suspicious death.
