On October 31, 2007, Miles Day Sawvel III was murdered during a home invasion robbery in Palm Shores. Miles Sawvel, 34, and his girlfriend got home around noon on Wednesday to find two men inside their home on US-1 in Cocoa. At least one of the men pulled a gun and shot Sawvel.
