Cold Case Spotlight

On August 10, 2013, 26-year-old Brandon Gentry was hanging out with friends at the Pickettville mudhole in Jacksonville, Florida. Around 3:30am on August 11, 2013, a vehicle driving northbound on Pickettville Road noticed, what appeared to be a person, lying on the side of the road and notified authorities. Brandon Gentry was found bleeding from the head in life threatening condition. He was taken to a local trauma hospital where he died on Wednesday, August 14, 2013. Evidence at the scene suggests that Brandon was the victim of a hit and run, though no witnesses have come forward.
