Bobby Ray Jones was managing and living at the Lone Branch. The bar had been closed for the night, but he would sell alcohol if he knew you and knocked on the door. On night in question, Bobby's estranged wife, Betty Jones, was in a back room when Bobby went to answer the knock at the door. After a few minutes she heard several gunshots and heard a vehicle drive off. She found victim laying on the floor by the cooler.
