On Wednesday, July 29, 1987, fifty-nine year old white female Georgia Mae Bell was reported to have been missing since the previous day. On the evening of the following Monday, August 3, 1987, Georgia Mae Bell's vehicle was located parked at a business in the area of Lakeview and North W Street in Escambia County. On October 5, 1987, the body of Georgia Mae Bell was found in Okaloosa County. Investigation found that Georgia Mae Bell was a victim of murder.
