The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Region 14 field office in Kingsland, Georgia and the Camden County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the homicide of Emily Drury which occurred on Thursday, September 4, 2013. The Camden County Sheriff’s Office responded to the residence of Emily Drury, located at 3668 McKinnon Road in White Oak, Georgia, to conduct a welfare check on Emily Drury after she failed to show up for work that morning. The responding deputies located Emily Drury deceased inside her residence. Autopsy results revealed the death was caused by a gunshot. No arrest has been made.
