Waters was murdered at approximately 09:55 pm on the evening of February 26, 2001. He was sitting outside his sister's apartment when two masked men approached him from behind the building. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. The suspects stole Waters wallet and a large amount of cash from a tax return. During the struggle Waters was shot and killed. Both suspects are black males believed to be in their late teens to mid twenties. Suspect #1 is described as being 5'10' tall with a stocky build. Suspect #2 is approximately 5'10 tall with a thin build. On June 12, 1989, around 10:00 a.m., 7-week-old Justin Composky was taken to a children's clinic by his parents. At the time, baby Justin was not breathing and no definite heartbeat could be found. At 10:35 a.m., he was pronounced deceased. The autopsy determined that Justin had old fractures to his back that were in various states of healing, and that he suffered hemorrhages and a subdural hematoma on his brain. The Medical Examiner ruled the manner of death as a homicide, and that the injuries received were classic signs of Shaken Baby Syndrome. On Saturday, February 24, 2001 at 8:40 a.m., Mr. Hamilton's body was discovered in the yard behind his travel camper at 4917 Austin Street in Tampa. Mr. Hamilton's truck, the white 1/2 ton Chevrolet was located behind the Burger King Restaurant at Columbus Drive and 50th Street on Sunday, February 25, 2001. Two unknown black males were seen exiting the victim's truck. The driver was described as a black male in his 20's, 5'8" - 5'11", approximately 160 pounds, short black dreadlocks that were shaved in the back, and wore an ear ring in his right ear.
