On Tuesday' November 12, 1996, between 10:00 and 10:30 p.m., Larry James Henderson was shot through the bedroom window of his Jakin, Georgia residence. Seriously injured in the attack were Mr. Henderson's infant child, Haley Henderson, and girlfriend Martisse Register. While recovering from the above attack, on December 6, 1996m between 10:00 and 10:30 p.m., Mr. Henderson was shot and killed while visiting with family members in Donalsonville, Georgia.

On Friday, October 6, 2000, the Elbert County Sheriff's Office in Elberton, Georgia responded to a local residence where the body of a 67-year-old white male had been discovered. The victim, Jimmy Harris Webb, had been shot to death approximately four days earlier. At the time of the murder, the victim was in possession of a very large coin collection believed to be valued in excess of $100,000.00. The collection consisted of approximately 500 to 1000 coins that ranged in date from the early 1800's to present. The safes containing the coin collection had been broken open and all the coins were taken. There were no signs of any struggle or forced entry into the home.

The GBI, Adairsville Police Department and Bartow County Sheriff's Office are seeking information on the murder of a 20 year old Federal Jobs Corps Trainee whose body was found near Adairsville on October 6, 1992.
The victim, Walter J. Cropper, was last seen Sunday, September 20, 1992 at 1:00 pm in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He was seen walking down the road in front of the Jobs Corps Center in Prestonsburg. He was to graduate from the Jobs Corps the next week and return to his home in Panama City, Florida.
On Thursday, October 6, 1992, Cropper's partially decomposed body was discovered 20 feet from Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive which is located about a mile from the intersection of I-75 & Highway 140 in Adairsville. He had been shot in the chest.
Investigators do not believe he was killed at this location. They also think his death occurred the day he disappeared from Kentucky - Sunday, September 20, 1992.

Eleven-year-old Levi Frady was last seen on Wednesday, October 22, 1997, on Little Mill Road in Forsyth County. His body was found the next day in the Dawson Forest Wildlife Management Area in Dawson County. Little Mill Road is a well-traveled road between Highway 306 and 369. The Dawson County Sheriff's Office, the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and the GBI Regional Office in Cleveland are investigating the murder.
Note: October 22,1997, was the fifth game of the World Series. October 23,1997, was opening day for deer hunting in Dawson Forest for rifles.
Investigators are also seeking the public's help in identifying 2 possible witnesses in the Levi Frady murder case.
The first person in question was seen walking along Little Mill Road in Forsyth County at 6:30 p.m. on October 22, the day Levi was reported missing. Based on witness descriptions, the sketches below - profile and front views - of the man were made by GBI forensic artist Marla. He is described as a white male in his late 50's, with a scruffy, gray beard. He was wearing a faded blue baseball cap. He walked in a stooped fashion.
The second person or potential witness was seen in the Dawson Forest Wildlife Management Area. He is described as a white male, 45 to 55 years of age, clean shaven, 6' 0" to 6' 1" tall, slim build with white or gray hair. He was driving a 1980 to 1985 medium blue Toyota, 2 wheel drive, pick-up truck with a white camper shell over the bed of the vehicle.

On Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at approximately 11:17 a.m., the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting incident at Jon’s Sport Park on Thompson Drive in Douglas, Georgia. Deputies arrived on the scene and found the body of Doris Worrell, age 39, at the scene. She was the victim of an apparent gunshot. Jon Worrell, the husband of the victim and manager of Jon’s SportPark, left the business at approximately 9:40 a.m. to run errands. His wife remained on the premises engaged in cleaning the business. When her husband returned at approximately 11:15 a.m., he found his wife’s body. On Thursday, March 13, 2008, “Conspiracy to Commit Murder” warrants were issued for Glidden Humberto Rodriguez, 39, and Brandon Eugene Cage, 20, both of Douglas, in reference to the homicide of Doris Worrell. Both subjects were arrested in Coffee County by Coffee County Deputies are in custody. The warrants are the result of the on-going investigation being conducted by the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office and the GBI Douglas Office into the shooting death of Doris Worrell. At the time of the murder, Rodriguez was employed at Jon’s Sports Park. Located about 100' from the body was his 1989 Maroon Ford Taurus, similar to the one shown right, which had been burned. Victim had been attending a tax seminar in downtown Atlanta during the week of Sept. 21 and was last seen by neighbors at his residence in East Point Thursday evening, September 24, 1992, the night before his body was found.
