Osteological examination showed the victim had one leg markedly shorter than the other, may have had facial trauma prior to his death, and was likely a short Latin male, between the ages of 35-45. The cause of death is believed to be head trauma. Similarities found in both cases are #1 The victims were both elderly white females who lived alone. #2 the homes were both single-family, single story, concrete block constructed with either a family room or screen room where forced entry occurred. #3Forced entry was gained through the use of some type of pry toold. #4 There was no sexual assault in either case. #5 Both offenses occured in the darkness #6 Both cases occurred within four days of each other.
