On April 18, 1981 unidentified human remains were discovered in a drainage ditch along the roadway next to the Homestead Extension of the Florida Turnpike. The victim was a white male with brown hair who was 5'5" and weighed between 130 and 140 pounds. He wore dark green, corduroy trousers with a 28 1/2 inch waist and a medium National shirt. He wore blue or dark green underwear and brown shoes with no socks. The victim was estimated have been in his late 20s to early 30s at the time of death. The victim had three insulin-type syringes in his pockets that may have been used for illegal drugs. He had been dead several months when his body was found. Investigators believe he was probably right handed. He also had poor dental health with several fillings. Victim Judy Ann Brown (AKA Bryant) was found by a passer-by lying in a ditch on Watson Rd, 5/10 of a mile east of Providence Rd, in Brandon, FL.
