Sisters Carla Atkins and Vickie Stout left home to walk to a nearby convenience store. After leaving the store, they never made it home. Nearly a month later, their bodies were found in what is now known as Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. Witnesses reported seeing a blue truck in the area and also reported seeing Carla and Vickie approaching the truck and its driver.
