Update - June 2021: Vidal Rodriguez-Alvarez, 32, was charged in September 2008 in the death of Liliana Razo, who was a freshman at South Division. An arrest warrant had been issued at the time for Rodriguez-Alvarez, then 19.

His arrest was announced on June 9, 2021.

According to court records, Razo died Sept. 8, 2008, three days after a screwdriver hurled after an exchange of insults between rival gang members pierced her head. Razo was sitting in a minivan in the 1900 block of South 13th Street when she was struck.
