On January 12, 1999 at 3 p.m. the victim, Walter Rodriguez, was discovered dead inside his apartment. The suspect, Luis A. Gonzalez, was a roommate with victim. Both individuals were involved in the sale of drugs within the apartment. Both individuals had committed an armed robbery of a sandwich shop. Suspect Luis A. Gonzalez has outstanding warrant for armed robbery and Federal UFAP and may be in Puerto Rico. On 12/9/1997 Janis McDonnell was found murdered about 100 feet off Aripeka Road just west of U.S. Hwy 19 in Spring Hill Florida. She was last seen about 10 a.m. that same day when she left her home to go shopping. Her 1995 white Pontiac Sunfire SE was found the next day abandoned in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart store on U.S. Hwy 19 in Spring Hill Florida.
