An unknown Hispanic male between 19-23 years of age, about 5’2 ½”, and 125 lbs., was found beaten to death on November 28, 1992, in an orange grove on Stokes Road in Frostproof. The victim had a tattoo on his left shoulder that read “J.Y.P.” It appears that some kind of blunt object was used to kill him. A composite drawing of the victim was created. On July 19, 1980 unidentified human remains were discovered behind a store in the 1900 block of Northwest 9th Street in Fort Lauderdale. The victim was a black female who stood about 5'03-5'04" tall and weighed 141pounds. She had needle tracks and was wearing a red, green and black flannel shirt, brownish-beige jeans and a red leather belt. She was wearing clear, plastic loafers on her feet. It is estimated that she was between 25-35 years old. On June 16, 2016 at approximately 10:04 p.m., deputies responded to 2300 Fontainebleau Drive, Orlando, Florida in reference to a drive-by shooting. Deputies discovered two black males with gunshot wounds who were identified as Teryus Zion Garmon (Juvenile) and Lee Andrew Nelson Jr. They later died of their injuries. Witnesses indicate a dark colored sedan pulled up to the victims, who were standing in front of the house, and fired from the vehicle.
