Around 4:33 p.m. on January 2, 1977, 45-year-old Willie Lee Robinson was found dead in the front seat of his 1967 blue Buick Skylark, on the south side of Lakeland Hills Blvd. and I-4 near Lake Crago, in Lakeland. The keys to his car were found in his pocket. He had been shot several times in the head. He was a janitor at the Lakeland Police Department.
