Update - March 2022: Patrick Gilham pled no contest to second-degree murder charges and was sentenced to 23 years in prison for killing Roxanne Wood.

Update - February 2022: Michigan State Police announced the arrest of Patrick Wayne Gilham, 67, and charged him with "open murder and breaking and entering of an occupied dwelling" on February 18, 2022.

Investigators believe Gilham may be connected to other cases in the area.

The body of Sheila Holmes, age 31, of Barrington was discovered on the morning of April 13, 1990 near the railroad tracks by Forest Street in Dover, NH. An autopsy determined that Sheila had been strangled and also suffered blunt force trauma to the head. Sheila also suffered multiple rib fractures and a lacerated renal artery. She was found lying on the ground in front of a blue Toyota pickup truck.

Jeffrey D. Trudeau, Jr., was 3½ months old when he died as a result of an ongoing pattern of abuse. At approximately 9:30 a.m., on December 7, 2000 Jeffrey's mother, Christine Turcotte, brought her son to the Seymour Osman Community Center in Dover, NH, because Jeffrey was non-responsive and not breathing. Jeffrey was transported to the Wentworth Douglass Hospital where he was declared dead. An autopsy revealed that Jeffrey's death was the result of a homicide. The medical examiner concluded that no single injury killed Jeffrey. Rather, the medical examiner ruled his death was caused by fatal child abuse syndrome. At the time of his death, Jeffrey Trudeau, Jr. lived at 15 Hampshire Circle, Dover, NH with his mother.
