On 08-20-06, the complainant was driving down a dirt road (Alton Box Rd. W.) when he observed what appeared to be human remains, later identified to the victim. Police were called to the scene. Homicide detectives responded. A further search of the wooded area resulted in no other human remains. Detectives were later informed that there was no trauma to the remains. In 2010, positive I.D. was determined. The victim had been reported missing by his mother on 7-3-06. Several leads were followed and interviews conducted by detectives.
