On Tuesday, 04-15-2014 at 0652, patrol officers were called to assist Fire/Rescue personnel at a call involving a person down. Upon arrival, they located the victim in his late teens or early 20’s. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigators learned that on Monday night (04-14-2014) area residents heard several gunshots in the area at approximately 2130 hours (9:30 PM). The police were not contacted about the gunshots. On 04-15-2014 as kids were approaching their bus stop, they located the victim and police were called. Investigation continuing. At about 11:30 AM on Sunday, October 23, 2016, officers from District E-18 (Hyde Park) responded to a call for a person who appeared to be lying motionless inside a motor vehicle in the area of 36 Williams Avenue in Hyde Park. On arrival, officers located a male victim, believed to be in his early twenties, suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced on the scene. The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
