On August 16, 1987 unidentified human remains were found in an abandoned house at 310 N. Deerfield Avenue, Deerfield Beach. The victim was a black male wearing a red and blue pullover shirt and corduroy shorts. He was about 5'7", 180 pounds and approximately 43 years old. The man's skeletal remains were found inside the house after it had been fully engulfed in flames. Drug paraphernalia was found nearby. The fire was considered suspicious, and medical examiner ruled his death a homicide.
