Cold Case Spotlight

Bryan Bennett Wrigley, a South Carolina native attending University of St. Augustine and avid bicycle rider, was riding his bicycle eastbound on CR-214 near Poa Boy Farms Rd. Around 3:15pm, and for reasons unknown, a westbound 2001 to 2003 Blue Ford Ranger crossed the center line of the road and struck Bryan Wrigley head-on killing him instantly. The driver then fled the crash scene west bound. A witness in the area described the Ford Ranger as an extended cab, and the driver as a 18-21 year old white male with dark hair. He was last seen turning south on CR13 from CR214 with a bicycle tire still stuck to the front of the truck.
