Lisa Wright, age 26, who lived at 661 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH was found strangled to death in her apartment on December 10, 1991. Lisa was last seen on the night of December 6, 1991 when she was dropped off at her apartment. In January 1992, Alan Pete was charged with Second Degree Murder for killing Lisa. The murder charge against Pete was dropped in March 1993, a few months before trial because one of the witnesses recanted earlier statements he had made to the police. No one else was ever charged in connection with this case.
