Shari Roth, age 22, left her home alone on Sunday August 21, 1977 in North Conway, NH to go hiking on Sawyer Brook Trail in Livermore, NH (between Bartlett and Lincoln). She did not return home and was reported missing that evening by friends. Her body was discovered on August 24, 1977. An autopsy indicated that she had been strangled to death.

Cold Case Spotlight

At approximately 7:00pm on Wednesday, October 2, 1974, Joseph Roy Davis, owner-operator of Diamond Cab Company, was dispatched to a fair at the Pizza Hut on Lem Turner Road. At 7:10pm Mr. Davis picked up the fair and contacted dispatch to advise that he was on Interstate 95 headed to the Southside of Jacksonville. The dispatcher was unable to reach him on the radio after that. The next morning the body of Joseph Roy Davis, 40, was found under the Hart Bridge in Jacksonville with multiple gunshot wounds. His stolen cab was recovered on St. Augustine Rd.
