The victim and her granddaughter had been sleeping in the same bed . The granddaughter claims she was awakened by a noise. When she got up to investigate, an unknown subject hit her in the mouth. Cold Case Spotlight

On January 4, 1994 police were dispatched to 4000 San Juan Avenue in Jacksonville, Florida in response to a body floating in the Ortega River just north of the Ortega Bridge. The victim was identified as Lora Elise Loftin Crady, just 2 weeks shy of her 38th birthday. Lora's partially clothed body displayed evidence of foul play. Lora's death was initially deemed undetermined by JSO but the medical examiner's office rule it a homicide. The discrepancy led to evidence being thrown out. Now investigators need the public's help to find Lora's killer and bring justice to her family.
