Cold Case Spotlight

On Sunday, December 23, 2007, Franklin Prince Jr., and two other males were sitting on the steps outside Mr. Prince's apartment when they were approached my unknown assailants, said to be 3 black males. The three victims were forced to the ground and shot. Franklin Prince Jr. and Antonio Creech died at the scene while the 3rd man was transported to the hospital were he survived and recovered from his injuries. Despite a surviving witness no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made. Anyone with information can contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at (904) 630-2172. On September 30, 1994, Jarrod Green left his residence to meet a friend at the Searcy Country Club in Searcy, Arkansas. He has not been heard from since. Jarrod’s vehicle was discovered abandoned in the Walmart parking lot in Searcy on October 3, 1994. The car's windows were open and Green's car keys were located on the floor underneath the driver's seat. Almost 23 years after Jarrod was last seen an arrest was made in his disappearance and suspected murder. However, the charges were dropped 6 months later.
