On 01/19/1997, Clyde Neil was shot inside of a vehicle while leaving a bottle club located at State Road 60 and Sam Hicks Road, Plant City, Florida. His injuries caused paralysis, which left him immobile. On 05/17/2010, Clyde Neil died as a result of complications of his injuries caused by the gunshot wound.
