This case id related to the murder of Eleanor Swift. Case #87-17190. These cases are believed to have been committed by the same individual. Both women were found murdered in their bedrooms. Similarities found in both cases are #1 The victims were both elderly white females who lived alone. #2 the homes were both single-family, single story, concrete block constructed with either a family room or screen room where forced entry occurred. #3Forced entry was gained through the use of some type of pry toold. #4 There was no sexual assault in either case. #5 Both offenses occured in the darkness #6 Both cases occurred within four days of each other. During the evening of April 2, 1993, an altercation between Dennis Wayne Boone and an unknown Hispanic male occurred. The unknown Hispanic male fired a handgun several times. One of the shots struck Dennis Boone resulting in a fatal injury. The unknown male fled the scene in his vehicle. This case remains an unsolved homicide. Suspect description: White Hispanic male, 24-26 yoa, 5'6''-5'8'', 150-160 lbs, black hair shoulder length, light mustache. No known scars or tattoos. Last seen wearing a white buttoned down shirt with short sleeves and blue jeans. Vehicle: Late 70's Cadillac, light brown or tan, 4 door.
