Update: May 2019 - Seminole County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes investigators last night arrested Danny Lynn Emitt, 50, of Knoxville, TN, for the murder of 38-year-old of Eveline Aguilar. Aguilar's body was discovered on July 14, 1986, in her apartment located at 2353 Winter Woods Boulevard in unincorporated Winter Park. Aguilar had multiple cuts and stab wounds to her upper body and hands. Eve Aguilar, 38, suffocated and her throat was slashed at her apartment in south Seminole. She was last seen several days earlier by a friend who found her July 14, 1986. Aguilar's killer also sexually assaulted her. On Jan. 29, 2013, a 32-year-old mother was found fatally shot in her Roslindale apartment Carly Jones was discovered by a friend who had dropped off Jones’ daughter from school. When the friend approached the apartment, she noticed the front door had been left open. She instructed the child to wait outside as she entered the home and found the victim deceased. The multiple-family dwelling where Carly lived is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on Fawndale Road. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry in the building’s main entrance or in the apartment. Police believe that Jones knew her killer and that a tenant unwittingly let the shooter in through the main entrance.
