On November 3, 2003, at approximately 2:48am, deputies responded to the area of Sand Lake Road near Tangelo Park refence to possible gunshots. Update - May 2020: Investigators at the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office have cleared the murder of Rocky Taylor after 33 years. Detectives indicated that DNA evidence linked them to a suspect that died in 2015 from cancer. The man was believed to be a former boyfriend of the victim.
