On the morning of January 23, 1985, the body of an adult male, an apparent victim of murder, was found in the area southwest of I:10 and Pine Forest Road; more specifically west of Klondike Road / North of Mobile Highway, and South of Wilde Lake Boulevard. It is unknown when the victim was killed, other than an estimate of between at least eight months (April or May of 1984) and a few years before that (during or about 1980). The victim has not yet been identified and is believed to be a White Male between the ages of 45 and 55 at the date of his death; his year of birth is believed to be between or about 1925 and 1940; large framed and tall, between 6'00" and 6'4"; one of his pant legs was rolled up; he might have been known to smoke a pipe; his teeth were in poor condition; he had a gap in his upper front teeth; he might have had arthritis in his feet. The victim was wearing the following clothing: Men's white boxers (Sears brand, size 38); Black in color pants (size 38); Black in color belt; What appears to be hand-engraved initials or letters "W.T." are on the buckle; White in color tee-shirt (Sears brand); Yellow in color button-up short-sleeved shirt (size 16.5); Pair of lace-up Hush Puppies® style shoes.
